Faye Armon is an award-winning Set Decorator and Prop Master whose work spans Broadway, Off-Broadway, television, film, and live events. She made history as the first Set Decorator/Prop Master ever to receive an Obie Award, earning the honor for Bug in 2004. Beginning her career at New York City's historic Cherry Lane Theatre, Faye has built a distinguished career working across theater, television, and film.

Currently, Faye has the acclaimed “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” directed by Debbie Allen running at the Barrymore Theater on Broadway. Most recently, Faye served as Set Decorator on the feature film Drag, which premiered at the prestigious SXSW/2026. The film stars John Stamos, Lizzy Caplan, and Lucy DeVito, and was produced by Danny DeVito's Jersey Films. The premiere marked another milestone in Faye's career, showcasing her talent for creating authentic and visually compelling environments across both stage and screen.

In addition to her acclaimed theater work, Faye has built an extensive television portfolio, collaborating with major networks and streaming platforms including NBC, ABC, AMC, CBS, HBO, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, Food Network, and YouTube Originals. Along with working on many Broadway stages around NYC, from 2004 through 2020, Faye was a Set Decorator/Prop Supervisor at Lincoln Center Theater, contributing to acclaimed productions at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater, Vivian Beaumont Theater, and LCT3 stages. Throughout her theatrical career, her work has been recognized on some of the industry's most celebrated productions.

Beyond her artistic achievements, Faye occupies a uniquely distinguished position within the entertainment industry. She is a member of both the unions IATSE ACT and IATSE Local 52, a rare distinction that reflects her extensive accomplishments in both theatrical and film/television production. While most Set Decorators build their careers within one union jurisdiction or the other, Faye has earned recognition and standing in both worlds. This dual affiliation places her among an exceptionally small group of professionals with credentials spanning Broadway, live entertainment, television, and motion picture production at the highest levels.

Whether serving as Set Decorator or Prop Master, Faye brings a rare combination of artistic vision, technical expertise, and practical problem-solving to every production. Her career reflects more than two decades of excellence across stage and screen, with a body of work that has contributed to Tony Award-winning plays and musicals, critically acclaimed television productions, and groundbreaking live entertainment. Today, she continues to be recognized as one of the most accomplished and versatile creative professionals working in production design and set decoration.

WHAT I LIKE MOST….

“What I like most about doing Props & Set Decoration is enhancing the vision. I enjoy collaborating to find that perfect prop or that little something extra that makes the set dressing seem real and natural.

I push the ideas thrown at me and make sure they work on all levels, visually and script wise.  It’s easy enough to get a “shopper,” but to get a Prop Master and Set Decorator who thinks outside the box and knows how to get everything done — that’s when success happens.

I have major experience in the New York area since 1995. My team and I welcome your project.”

A Prop Supervisor/Set Decorator on Broadway acquires: furniture, hand props, special effects, blood, weaponry, food, rugs, curtains, artwork, dressing room items, green room furniture, vespas and anything the actors touch.

If you think of it like this—- if you have a living room - the set would be the walls, the floor, the door — but the props would be everything in that living room (couch, tv, chairs, rug, pictures, etc.)
